Guppies & Red-Tailed Sharks (please help!!)

Hi everyone, I'm new on this site, and have a question for you guys. I am looking to start adding guppies to my community tank. I already have a few fish in my 29-gallon tank: 1 algae-eater, 2 corydoras catfish, 2 rummy-nose tetras, 1 platy, and finally, my vibrant red-tailed shark. I would really like to know if my red-tailed shark will get along with the guppies. I would really like to add guppies to my tank, and it would be a shame to get rid of my shark. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

As much as I like guppies, over 20 strains here, your fish would do better for you to add another cory or a few more rummy noses.
Both fish do better in larger numbers.

BTW, WELCOME TO FISHLORE!!

welcome to fishlore. It's best not to add smaller fish to a tank with a RTS in it, when he gets big, they'll be lunch probably.

Thanks for the tips. I am already planning to get several more rummy noses as soon as i can. I've had my RTS for over a year, and it has never done more than just chase rummy noses out of his territory. Perhaps if I add more hidding spots in my tank, I can enjoy having guppies in my tank
