Your Weather
How's your current weather? I'm sitting in south Louisiana where it's the 2nd day into Dec. and it's 81 degrees outside. We have not seen much cool weather yet. Couple of my Bradford Pear trees started putting out new leaves and flowers from the warm weather. Someone send me some cool weather. Keeping my fingers crossed that I/we get to go to Chicago next year (Feb/March) and get to see some snow and COLD weather. That's where we are planning to go for our honeymoon. Getting married Feb. 29th.

I miss CO. Been about 10-12 years since I've been to CO. When I was in grade school, we vacationed every year to CO. North to South and East of the Rockies I know pretty well.
Send some of that cold weather this way and put a couple packs of snow if you can too. This 81 degree weather in Dec. has to go.

I know where you're coming from MudHog. I'm in southern Alabama, another part of the country that gets winter for about 2 weeks out of the year. The rest is so mild it might as well be fall and spring.
Right now its overcast, 72º with 89% humidity. At 4PM!
I wish it would get cold around here, but its going to stay just that...a wish.
Oh, and congratulations on getting married. Hope you enjoyed the married life!

a wish it is. Last time it snowed here was 1989, I think. I was 9 years old and we built a snowman in the yard that lasted all of 45 minutes before it melted.
I'm hoping there's feet of snow on the ground in Chicago for our honeymoon. We never went to CO in the winter, but we frequently got snowed on in July when we did vacation there.

Good luck to you Ashley. I know what the winds are like being in hurricane country, but I couldn't imagine what it's like with snow instead of rain.

67 degrees here and it's almost 8:00 p.m. I like it a little cooler, but as hot as it gets here in the summertime, this weather is just fine!

Mudhog I would be careful what I wished for. My husband and I got married in Chicago on Jan 28,1967. We had 23 inches of snow in less than a day and a half. It had been 60F the day before the storm started. so be careful what you wish for ....
