Hey bell , welcome to fishlore!!!!! your tank is so cooool!!! i like the bala shark, it will grow much bigger, i don't think u should add more fish, cause suckers grow up to 12"-18". the rule is 1" of fish per gallon of water.

Re: hello i new

Hello! I have the same ship you do. My pleco also loves hanging out in it.

Re: hello i new

Nice tank bell, I also wouldn't recommend any additions. You are probably overcrowded already, as both pleco's and bala sharks grow LARGE. They alone will prove to overcrowd a 55 gal tank. My suggestion would be to trade in the pleco's for bristlenose pleco's which will do the same cleaning job, but produce MUCH less waste. Then you might be able to add some more small fish. Good Luck.

Re: hello i new

that's a beautiful tank.. i'd agree with susitna-flower on the plecos.. bristlenose plecos are much better for aquariums smaller than 55g.. zebra plecos are my favorite but very expensive.

http://www.planetcatfish.com/ is a great site for the many, many, MANY types of plecos out there and info on them all.
