Re: This is pushing it a little

I think the only way to steal it is to bring a big pair of tin snips and alot of muscular endurance.

The stupid thing about it is...how long is it gonna take the owner to unlock it lol! :

Re: This is pushing it a little

Actually only one of the locks is attached to the bike rack. Just get rid of that single lock and then it can be stolen. Of course then you'd have to get rid of all the other locks, but you'd have all the time in the world to do it.

Is only ONE of those locks attached to the bike rack?

Re: This is pushing it a little

oh yea! thats just stupid. Just wondering as well, once the owner has taken all the locks off, how does he take them with him when he's riding the bike?

Re: This is pushing it a little

And if you look carefully, the rest of the locks are not actually attatched to anything.

Tom
let's grab the locks & leave the bike! maybe the bike is there to protect the locks.

Re: This is pushing it a little

I think it's actually meant as a work of art so to speak. There is a note over the seat and if you look at that one lock that is actually attached to the rack, it's being held in the right position by a tie wrap. Some have suggested that this bike is sitting in a high crime area (i.e. a lot of bikes have been stolen, so leave your bike at your own risk).

Found this similar variant while trying to google more info on this photo.
