I don't know how many times I've had to remind the oblivious people working there to clean out the dead fish from the tanks, before more fish get sick or they cause an
ammonia spike. It seems like, if nothing else, having a gross little rotting carcass is going to drive away potential customers. But usually they say "I'll get it later" or "That's someone else's job" or something. I was talking to the live-fish-scooper, apparently, instead of the dead-fish-scooper.
I don't know - if they're going to kill their fish, they might as well clean them up.
