Re: Holey Rock

Check with Dino. He may have some and save you money if you are close enough to pick it up. You can also try Aquabid or ebay. Also check some of the classifieds on the cichlid forums for hobbyists selling it.

Re: Holey Rock

He is in Southeast Tennessee. We are having a club meeting next month, and would love for you to be there if you live close by.

Re: Holey Rock

I live in Indianapolis Indiana, I'm only 13 (almost 14) so i cant drive (obviously ) but there is a slight chance that i could come but very doubtful. I cant wait till i can drive then i will definately come I'll probably keep looking on aquabid, ebay and the cichlid forum classifieds. Thanks for the help Gunnie.

Re: Holey Rock

You can find them through www.petco.comorwww.petsmart.com. They don't have too high a price unless you want a huge one and they also have something called Lock Rocks that are pieces of artificial rocks that you can make your own caves and bridges and such out of the shape you want.

I hope you find this helpful.

Re: Holey Rock

I got an EXCELLENT crowntail Betta from mikeswetpets in Lancaster, NY. He was mailed all the way to Nebraska with no harm. His prices were reasonable. He sold over eBay, but I don't know if he would sell direct. His e-mail is:

stitchfish@adelphia.com

He is one of the nicest guys to deal with, but I do know he is trying not to mail fragile fish until March due to cold weather. I just know the quality you would get will be great because he cares as much about the fish as we do.

Hopes this helps a little.

Rose

Re: Holey Rock

I have ordered some of the bettas I had in the past from a lady in Canada. I live in Arizona and my lovies came to me live, healthy and absolutely beautiful. Getting from a breeder is definitely a good way to get a fish that you have chosen and that is healthy. You can also ask for a young betta if you want to breed. Pet store fish are typically too old to breed.

Re: Holey Rock

Yes Texas Holey rock is very unique in its shape. I've heard it will raise your pH so make sure your fishes need that befre buying any. Here is a piece I have.
