is there pictures of the actual process of dyeeing?

there should be put out the actual visual horrificness of it all. is there such a site?

I don't know if I'd want that.. it's a terrible, cruel process and should be banned and there should be codes to enforce for pet stores carrying dyed fish.

unfortunately it doesn't effect many people or at least not directly so nobody cares, well besides us. Until it effects them or there's enough protests nothing will change.

That practical fish keeping article was awful. They actually amputate their tails by snipping it with scissors! It makes me so angry.

im glad there is that site..for that one person who thought they were bred that way and decided to look it up b4 they bought one...unfortunetly the harsh stuff works best sometimes

i'd heard of dyed fish but tailess fish? this is awful. i dont agree with tail docking on dogs and neither do i agree with it on fish. why cant nature be left alone. natures way is perfect....why mess with that?

seems like so many people always think they have to 'improve' things and all they do is un-improve them in addition to inflicting suffering on an animal.. maybe those who would dye fish and cut of tails should be made to eat black pudding and haggis until they see the error of their ways! :

along with the tails they chopped and the dye they used....

I actually read a book talking about fish species and it showed tailless cyclids were bred - as opposed to surgically enhanced. Mmmmh, the plot thickens.
