Re: Got a 75 gallon for free

I've been thinking about getting live plants after seeing NextStepAquatics's awesome aquarium.

Re: Got a 75 gallon for free

What a bummer. I was told it was a 75 gallon but when I measured it, turns out to be a 45 gallon aquarium.

Re: Got a 75 gallon for free

My tank was actually sold to me as a 60L (15G?) and it's actually only 51L. Gutted.

Welll...I was only going to put as many fancy guppies as the tank will allow so it will still work.

Re: Got a 75 gallon for free

I might be getting a free 50 or hundred gallon tank soon.
My brother's day program has a little ten gallon tank that I've started taking care of. It's got three black skirt tetras and a five inch pleco. The guy at the pet store told the woman who bought the tank that fish can't outgrow a tank, they'll just stop growing. Well, the pleco has apparently slowed down growing, and I found out why last friday. I ran a water quality test and the nitrates were maxed out. So I talked to them, said that we could find something else to take care of the algae and then try to find someone who would take the pleco. One of the employees at the place asked if I would take it if she could get me a tank large enough to keep it in. I said "yes," of course.

I'm not sure it's worth the shipping from MN to England would be worth it. (I hope I'm seeing your flag right. Never been good at flags.)
