Re: worms/snails?

I don't know about the worms...I've never tried it. I would imagine not, only because it's not something they would eat in the wild (since these worms live in the dirt rather than the water). Who know, though? As for the snails, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work because those snails are not aquatic. But I have never had snails, so I'm no expert. This is just my opinion.

Re: worms/snails?

thanx mate, its just everytime i have plants from shop they always come with snails so i thought maybe they will be ok in water, as for worms apparently some fish eat them but i think i will hold on bit longer before doing both

Re: worms/snails?

kinda depends on what kind of fish you're feeding. i know the pet stores here sell worms for fish to eat, and they are the same as the ones outside. but i would be careful of disease and such

Re: worms/snails?

it's better to get worms from pet stores, u should feed your fish worms only once a week as they r high in protein.

Re: worms/snails?

thanks neville. ive bought frozen bloodworms from pet shop and i know the fish love them so will stick to buying them from there. i jus thought worms from garden would not only be a 'cheap' option but more variety for the fish. thanx for info
