i went and bought my 55 gallon mbuna tank today.they were out of the stand i wanted,but they will have some more thursday. all i need is the stand and a heater and maybe some more rock structures.

I love getting a new tank and decorating it (I wish I could do it more often, lol). It's so much fun. It don't consider it work because I love to think of the different ways you can arrange the plants, decor, wood, and rocks and then to actually set them all up. But the best part is when the water is ready and it's time to get fish!

Do mbunas like harder water and rocky environemnts? Or have I confused them with some other fish? Best of luck with your new tank Dano. A 55 gallon tank is pretty big. It's probably going to look awsome Post some pictures when all is ready.
