Hey Gunnie, forgive me for being nosy, I saw your profile and was wondering if are you a gunsmith? What types do you own and or work on?

My husband is. He has a shop near the house, and also sells antiques. He sells and works on all kinds. I got my name from someone from another forum and based on my profession.

I need a gunsmith to fix up a .357 snubnose revolver I inherited from my step-father. It's not in bad shape, but has some surface rust, and I don't have the right equiptment to fix it without scratching it all to ****.
I see you're also in florida... are you near, or do you know anyone good in the Tampa area?

Mr. Gunnie says try 0000 steel wool saturated with 3 in 1 oil to get the surface rust off. It's been a long time since we lived in that area. I don't know of any gunsmiths to recommend, but I will try and find you one if you still need one later on.
