Feeding fish earth worms

A freind of mine was feeding his fish earth worms that he dug in his garden is this ok

It's ok as long as no pesticides could have washed into where he harvests his worms. They also need to be washed off.

just out of interest...can any fish eat worms, or just the really big fish?

you could cut them up so they are smaller.

You would also have to clean them out so dirt doesn't get in your aquarium. You could do this by letting them eat ony vegetables or just if you cut them up, clean out their stomach.
