What is it like in the upper grades in middle school and high school?

I'm still a sixth grader in elementary and I'm curious.

ATM seems to always have a report to do.

Well I'd say it all depends, middle school is fun, and same with high school. Where I live if you take honors the workload can be heavy all depending on those TEACHERS. It's all fun, just make sure you get involved, if your not going to do a sport then do a club, you'l meet more kids then too. It's nothing to worry about, people say it's scary and it sure isn't. Go ahead and ask me a bit more specific question and I'll answer it for you. ENJOY your sixth grade year, you only get it once 8)

The swiching between classes, every period, every day?
I don't switch that much except for Science, Math, and specials like gym, art, music, etc.

The lockers? My school has lockers for backpacks and jackets. We use desks for everything else.

Swithcing is nothing, at my middle school when I was there most of the classes like math science etc. were all in the same hall and you only had to leave for art, music, foreign language classes like that. We had four minutes in between classes and it doesn't seem like much but your fine. As with the lockers for me we put everything in them, jacket, backpack, lunch if you bring one, books, folders, etc. and in middle school you don't seem to need as many supplies either like all the markers, colored pencils, especially in eight grade. If you find you need more room you can buy an extra shelf too.

Boy ... it's been AGES since I was in Middle and High School (I'm already 24) ... But as far as I remember, it wasn't that hard You will be fine if you care about your schoolwork and if you are systematic (meaning, if you do your work on time and do it honestly and with eagerness). This way, not only will you do well, but you will also learn a lot. And knowledge is power - ALWAYS. This applies not only to Middle and High School, but to ANY stage of education. Good luck to you

O in high school and in some classes in middle school if yours offers them you get midterms and final exams, their a pain, they cover everything you'v learned for two quarters/one semester and if you get a whacky teacher which you will in high school it's pretty hard. Good news is you get out of school early, once you take your exam you can leave
