Can I get rid of the flash when taking pictures with a digital camera? It always reflects off the glass and is very annoying. (I have to get a few picts for my hobby fair.)

Try holding your camera at a angle of 45, but i don't like using a flash because it must hurt there eyes .

Holding it at an angle does work, also turning out all room and tank lights except for the tank you are photographing helps, standing back and using the zoom is another idea.

I read the mannual and found how to turn the flash off. (How stupid of me!)
