I'm starting an aquarium and i want to know what fish are best. I want to get a 30 gallon maby 50.I need to know what stuff I should have in there also.Please help.

All live bearers, corys, cherry barbs, zebra danios, Flying Fox, and neon/cardinal tetras get along pretty well.

What fish you get depends on what you want. You could get a lot of small fish or just 2-3 bigger fish.


In some filter setups there are 3 filter medias inside them. Mine has a spnoge filter, with ceramic tubes and carbon bags. THe sponge catches the large debris the carbon clean the tank out and the ceramic disks are for forming bacterial colonies for creating a good chemical balance onside the tank
