I just wanted some more opinions. I was considering getting two Angelfish for my 55g tank. Do you think a Blue Gourami would make a good tankmate.

While we are at it, what would be some good tankmates that will reach 4" - 8" and that are daytime active.

Butterfly

Angels and Gouramis don't usually mix. The Gouramis are bad to pick at the angels fins.
I have loaches with mine and an eight inch pleco plus black neons and green neons.

Thanks for your input. I have decided to go with two angels, three bala sharks, and three pictus cats. An active silver and black community tank.
