Nano Cube vs Eclipse 12 gal Glass Tanks

Hey how ya doing,

Any one have any reviews or have every used either the Nano Cube or Eclipse glass tanks?? I need to get a new tank and have narrowed it down to these 2. Any ideas are greatly welcome. Thanks in advance Mac

Re: Nano Cube vs Eclipse 12 gal Glass Tanks

I'm new to fishkeeping, but I have a 30 gallon "tall" tank (12 x 24) in acrylic with an Eclipse 2 hood. I really like the Eclipse system. Very clean because it is self contained. I also really like the acrylic. Very strong and doesn't distort the fish like glass.

I also have a little 3 gallon Eclipse system that is working great.

My friends who are doing marine tanks love the Nano Cubes. From what I've gathered, the Nano Cubes are better suited to marine tanks because they have the room to install additional and different kinds of filtratoin systems and accessories. With the Eclipse, you are pretty much stuck with the stock setup. If it doesn't suit your needs, you're stuck. With the Nano Cube, you have many more equipment options, making them more versitile.
