Ahh thats sad - mk2 fiestas are cool! I had a little Fiat 126 whcih was such fun to drive cos you could put your foot down and roar around but never go above 30 mph hahaha

Unfortunately they were never designed with a view to last very long so mine died a slow and painful death

Woooo thats cool! I would have loved to have done that with my fiat - they're so rare now and totally individual. I went to my mechanics today and he has about 30 in his yard and i nearly cried looking at them! I thought about turning one into a large aquarium (I've seen it done at the London Aquarium with a ford Ka) - now that would be COOL!

38 years in this body.

19,670,426 years total.

But then you have to buy into the fact that I am an alien fish who has been here guiding the humans thru their childhood for the past 55,970 years.

29 years, 1 month, 12 days until I get to go home.

I am orginally from the second closest star, Barnard's Star, about 6 light years away. Got tapped for this gig when I decided the monkey's here would be a more pleasant assignment than the spiders of alpha centuri.
Little did I know.

Dino, LOL, what are you talking about?! 38 years in the fish hobby, but you're 29 years old, haha, so how is that possible! Hmm, and "19,670,426 years total" of what? LOL, I see that except for fish, you're also into astronomy? I love astronomy by the way! But seriously now, for what country and state does your star "Barnard" stand? Haha

And Alpha Centauri is the first closest star to Earth, if I remember correctly, right?

Alpha centuri is only the closest for the next 8,000 years.
At that point, Barnards star will be closer.
I have been in the hobby 26 years, while this body is 38 years old.
Barnard's star is located in the constellation Ophiuchus, seen from the southern hemisphere. This body was born in Ohio.

When you have been around as long as I have, you pick up a lot of knowledge and interests.

That's very interesting Dino. Pardon my curosity, but are you working in some astronomy field perhaps? As for myslef, I only took one astronomy college course (an elective on my part) and found it incredibly interesting. Since that time, I have been reading here and there about astronomy for myself. Night sky is always so fascinating. Do you know any works by Carl Sagan? He is a wonderful writer, and his "Cosmos" is the best astronomy book!

The job the government knows about is my job at the post office.
Besides that one, I have way to many to count.
I am familar with Sagan. I met his son, Nick, last year in Boston at the World Science Fiction Convention. I have all the books Carl authored or co authored.

Other than being TOTALLY wrong about aliens being here on Earth, I have a great deal of respect for him and his works.

Dino that's very exciting! You're very lucky to have met his son. Is he also an astronomer? As for Sagan's books, I have seen all the books he wrote but so far have read "The Dragons of Eden" and "Cosmos." Of course I will try and read the rest as well
