I always thought my larger oscar was king of the tank untill today when i saw my tiretrack eel follow him around the tank for a peice of shrimp and when the oscar opened his mouth the eel went in and took that shrimp right out of his mouth! Ive never seen anything like that happen before haha, my girlfriend still continues to hate the eel

Sorry, not privy to other stuff you've posted, why does your girlfriend hate the eel?

I love stories like this, I like to point them out to a couple of friends of mine who think fish are boring merely because it's what they've always heard.

My betta is king of his tank but then it's not hard to be king when your 'subjects' are corydoras catfish and a snail.

haha, all my friends go nuts over my tanks, when I have parties and get togethers, the tanks are always big hits, my girlfriend used to like the eel when it was a baby, but now its about 16 inches long and she thinks its disgusting haha

yeah well i think if u put a betta into a tank he instantly thinks he's king like in mine i have 3 cories, an oto, a bamboo shrimp, and well Inari my betta and i just added a plastic rock formation and he was chasing everyone out of it as if to say, "My kingdom, my rocks, no one else my see them" lol
