hello there everybody ive recently brought a second hand fish tank and it came with some tropical fish tropical fish are new to me this is my first tropical fish tank unfort the first day 1 swordtail fish died and a silver shark i think this was due shock anyway i still have about 10 fish as i know ion the tank all alive and well i have the undergravel filter with the twin tube pumps and as far as i can identerfy it is a cat fish and what it keeps doping is going down the tube pump and i dont know why it does this it has done it 6 times now and ive had the tank just under 2 days now when the fish dose this i turn the pumps off becasue it looks life it cant get back up then the fish stays near the top of the tube and just pokes its head out for about 2 mins and somtime the smaller cat fish goes inot the pump and the same procedure happens can anyone shed some light for me is this normal as far as i know it is a cat fish i have 3 catfish in my tank i find it hard to identerfy any of my fish because when i look on websites the fish have completely differnt patterns when my rechargable batteries are ready i will try and get a picture of all my fish for your help to identerfy them thanks
