I know it's not recomended but my mom wanted them so bad I now have 6 neon tetras. My angels don't care about them. I figured I'd give it a shot since my angels are old and haven't cared about sharing their tank with a betta before and don't care about the guppies. The neon's are cool though.

that is nice for your mom but isn't your tank over stocked already? if so i would be an excellent excuse to get that 10 gallon out again right

Well technically it's not overstocked..yet. Once the BN is full grown it will be but my filter takes care of it and I'm doing larger water changes. Also the guppies aren't going to live much more than a year or two if that and the angels may go anyday since they are really old. Ya I went to a petstore by my grandma's to get a dwarf gourami (sp. sorry) and my mom looked at their planted display tank and really like the neons and she said she would split the cost for them so I said I'd try some and now she's really happy and my dad is too since he had tetras when he was a kid. The ten gallon I gave to my cousin so he can have a tank and I'm trying to get him to come here but he's still a little young yet. I would have kept it but my mom said I wasn't allowed to set it up anytime soon and he wanted fish and would take care of them so I gave it to him to be put to good use. If I ever do convince her to let me get another tank I would try to get a larger tank than that one.
