Well, we picked a movie for the 1st grade...

Its going to be Over the Hedge, I can't wait! I will be helping watch and serve the whole 1st grade class (of coarse if the other 6 year olds are like my child I will be so happy!) This week has been crazy! I have found out that most likely I will be working a lot on n ight shift the next few months, the reg full time guy might be having surgery on his feet. yes, but I will be wore out!

Wyatt lost his first tooth a couple days ago , the toothfariy left him $20 for his tooth, I will have to post a pick of his smile, its so cute!

He has been so excited about me doing stuff with his school, especially staying w/ the 1st grade class doing the movie thing Friday that he wrote about it in the journal at school, I even snuck up on their desks today while they weren't in the classroom and saw where he was writing about me again. I love it, it makes me want to do even more w/ him at school.

Carson has been wild, he has learned that the dog likes mountain dew mixed in her water when moms not looking, and suckers. Oh yea, mom loves to be splatter painted with choc syrup right before nap time. The toad got the under the ground look to his tank today with nutty buddy smeared on his tank from top to bottom on the outside, as I took the dog out to pee, what a mess!! he also did my windows in nemo fruit snacks, so colorful!
And my husband wonders how the house never gets cleaned? I clean and then its right back to where we started!

To beat it all, Molly the doggie has a food allergy thats why her feet have no fur on them and are itching her, so between watching her scrap food grabbing, I have to keep our 3 year old from giving her mountain dew and suckers, and her from stealing cat food, (I can't put it up high the 30lb cat cannot jump high enough to get to it she would starve to death not to mention she almost broke her leg on a baby gate months ago so we swore them off too)

Oh yea, I think I have sold the rest of my fry, I just priced them as cheap as possible to empty out all of my yellow labs, my female labs are going to spit any day now! I was an inch away from just giving them all away. I had to have my breeder tank empty, not to mention I am pretty sure I have a holding polit right now.

I have 2 common plecos that I have to get rid of now, that will be free. (I will prob take them down to the fall get together at Dino's)

Do you know what food Molly is allergic to? Two of my sisters have dogs that are (apparantly) allergic to soybean hulls that are in the Beneful Healthy Weight formula.

I have no clue, after having a child that was allergic to milk and soy as an infant I have learned how to do the elmination diet very keenly so that is my plan with Molly, even if I have to buy her food from the vet she will get a strict diet, I have seen the worst of food allergies on a person after a long period of exposure through skin, digestive system, and respiratory so I couldn't imagine any other living creature suffering like that. My child went through torture from allergies, and had to eat a corn based formula for 2 years of his life before being able to eat reg food of any kind (you should see his appitite now he loves anything and everything especially veggies)

Anyways, the thought of my dog going through it really upsets me. That explains her little tummy rumbling all the time.

Most of the dog food web sites will have a list of the ingredients. Since both of the dogs got a rash after the food was changed (one from the regular to the healthy weight the other from the puppy to the healthy weight) we compared the ingredients. The main difference was the healthy weight formula had soybean hulls as one of te main ingredients. The older of the two dogs has been switched to a different food and her rash is gone. The younger of the two dogs was just diagnosed yesterday when I was talking to my sister. She will be switched this week. Being able to compare the ingredients was a faster and easier way than having to deal with an elimination diet. Fortunately, it was a fairly simple matter since that was the only change in their diet/routine.

mine will be eliminating my husbands habit of giving her scraps (we are used to giving our yellow lab outside scraps all the time, and we give molly the occasional treat from the steakhouse, etc) then, the kids are bad for "sharing", and then it will be the cat food, and lastly her food. Of coarse the allergy was only diagnosed over the phone, she sees the vet Friday in person. Until then she said to go ahead and apply hydrocortizone to the area, and try to just give her the reg dog food.
Yea, thats really hard to do in my house. Its going to be a challenge. At least w/ my son I controled everything going in his mouth.

My vet has me give one of my dogs a Benadryl when her allergies act up. She's allergic to some pollen or something in the Fall and she licks her feet like crazy too.

My other dog can not tolerate most of the grains they use in the cheaper brands of dog food so we have to buy a more expensive brand and, good grief, it gets spendy!

Oh my gosh your life sounds so crazy. I wish my job allowed me more time to spend at my boys' school though!

My poor deprived children - our Tooth Fairy is cheap, only $5 per tooth! Don't you love those wide toothless grins though?

I love his smile right now! Its so cute!
When I went to the school today I found myself just standing around in the class watching him I cant stay away! I think I am going to have to find away to sub teach or something? Just to be up there on a regular basis. I also noticed why he is being so good in class, there is a really pretty little girl that sits next to him, she was batting her pretty blue eyes at him when I walked in the room, she has blonde hair. I swear I am going to have my hands full with him! I asked him if she was the princess canidate where he was the prince he said no, I said well she should be out of all the 1st graders she takes the cake.
