So I was at the local Petsmart yesterday, and the worker there actually told customer not to put other kinds of fish with tiger barbs! That made me happy. And then one customer was asking about where to get puffers, so I gave him info on all the LFS's that carried them, and such. And they had some beautiful hornwort that I got for my bettas So overall, Petsmart was exceeding expectations yesterday.

That's great to hear, we also share our bad experiences from there, it's nice to hear something good.

I think for the most part petsmart seems to be hit or miss. The one is usually ok here in my area, not great but not as horrible as some of the others that I've heard of. Of course they did move all their snails into their plant tank and I'd really like to hit the employee who did that...

My petsmart has "pony tail guy" working in the fish section, he's like 35-40 and is basically a pro fish guy...but the chain stores put his shop out of business.

hmmm, unfortunatly were I live petsmart the closets fish store near me so I have to buy all my fish equipment there. They usually arent that bad, but the one near my home is very bad at giving advies. They basically tell any one buys a new tank that they can put fish in it after 3 days .

well... when I first got my tank I also got this tetra thing to sign up for free help online, they told me to run the tank for 2 days then add my fish.
