The pictures of the author, A.C. Crispin, was taken at Dragon Con in Atlanta. (Dragon Con is a fantasy and adventure literary and gaming convention held in Atlanta every year. She is an guest that teaches a writing class while there, but Dino has known her for 17 years and there is always an effort for them to get up with one another every couple of years. (Not to mention he was written into one of her Star Wars books. Rebel Dawn )

She created a rebel medical officer in one of her Han Solo novels named Diano Hyx.
He is a short bearded man with a shy smile and blue eyes.
He helped Han Solo rescue some slaves from the Hutts.

Beautiful plants! The second one looks like an African Milk Tree (I have one but with green leaves rather than pink)

You went to dragoncon? Now I'm jealous; I've been wanting to go for years!

African Milk Tree is the common name for euphorbia, so I just found out.

Yours is probably a different variation/species. Not sure which is proper.

There are over 2000 species and many color variants of those species.
We have about 20 species here at the fishhouse.

Very cool Dino.. I've read a lot of her books over the years and I may have to get those 2 again (my books got donated when we made the move).
