| Fish aggressive order Out of these four types of fish which you think are the most aggressive and in which order?
Flowerhorn, Arowana, Oscar, and Pacu.
And do you know if Flowerhorn, Arowana, and Oscar can get along in the same tank? |

| Either the Flowerhorn or the Oscar depending on if you get all evil ones like we've had in the past. |

| Pacu from what I known can grow huge, maybe 3 feet and also I have read from sites that Arowana can be put in the same tank with an Oscar and Pacu, but I am not sure about Flowerhorn. Though I am skeptical about the mixed up.
I have a Flowerhorn and i didn't even know he was a flowerhorn until I went to the store and find out. He is pretty aggressive, thought I am not sure if he is semi-aggressive or just aggressive, and between those four fish (pacu, arowana, flowerhorn, oscar) who are the aggressive fish and in what order? I have read that red devil and texas cichlid are more aggressive than Oscar and can killed an Oscar is this true?
But even though my flowerhorn is aggressive he is very shy, he always hide behind a rock when I am in the room and other fish not aggressive will not hide. |

| arowana can get over 2 feet..and an oscar can go 12-14" so they are all big fish..not sure on the flowerhorn...what size tank are you thinking for these beasts? |

| I am thinking about 55 then upgrade, right now I don't have Oscar or Arowana but maybe later on along with Flowerhorn. I am not sure if these three will get along and which of these in addition to pacu are of the aggressive order.
Flowerhorn grow to be similiar size to Oscar
What tank do you have for your pacu? |

| for those fish to thrive and live without killing eachother, hundreds of gallons will be needed...it wont matter in what order you have them or think the agressiveness could be, 55 gal is good for ONE oscar alone and thats about it other than maybe a pleco...most of the time we say we will upgrade, and whether it be money, time, room etc, we dont...I had a pacu growing up..or my dad did..with some dempseys and some piranha's and he had a 96W x 24D x 48H which I think is about 480 gal...which took up an entire wall and then some...to me with all the fish he had, there still wasnt alot of room |

They only thing that make piranha aggressive is the fact they have razor sharp teeth. Other than that Piranha are boring..we've kept quite a few species. They only move when it's time to eat or get scared.
Pacu aren't really aggressive, just big ugly oafs.
I would not put an arrowana oscars...we had a 2" oscar eat the belly out of 4" silver arrowana.
Arrowna need a big tank they get long and thick. Last edited by Allie; September 5th, 2008 at 07:40 AM.
