As most of u know i will b upgradin 2 about a 25-30gallon i was wonderin if its ok 2 scoop the gravel out of the tank i hav at the minute and in2 my new tank ? then i will also put all the water from my old tank in2 the new 1 after i bag up my fishies i will also put the filter in2 the new tank without changin the filter cartridges

i also plan 2 put new gravel in2 my new set up so i take it i will not hav 2 cycle my new tank after swappin everythin over ?

Craig, If you move the contents of your 20 to a 25/30, along with the unchanged filter, you won't have to cycle the tank and the fresh water you add to fill the larger tank will act as a partial water change.* I've done this successfully in the past myself.* * ** Glenn

just a wee update 4 u all i will b swappin my tanks either on saturday or sunday evening cant wait 2 hav a new tank im gettin EXCITED lol luke will b comin round 2 help me bag up the fish and keep them safe then swap everythin lol il tell u all bak here when its completed! il post pics as well my silver dollar will look well in the new set up once he grows lol

the swapping of the tanks has been completed about an hour ago lol it took me and luke about 3 hours!! water is a little cloudy fish a bit stressed but they'll settle as will the water the 2 filters r doin a gr8 job!! so the new tank is goin lol!!! yeeeooooooo!!!! lol its a gd birthday present my birthday is next sunday!!! im 18! lol
