What is the best way to seal a bulkhead in a drilled tank, say if they did not want to use the bulkhead?

you can buy a stop valve and a cap and fit under bulk head to a bit of pipe ,

I was thinking just using like a 90 degree elbow and turn it upwards coming out of the bulkhead, then just capping it there.

Lol Taku, that would be called an accident waiting to happen. We're talking 1-2" diameter holes.....two of them, in the side of the tank. Won't work.

I was told that you could use silicone to seal a proper-thickness sheet of glass on the inside of the tank. The guy who said this isn't on the site anymore, but he was a genius when it came to DIY stuff.
