| Wont be here for a couple days. The reason why I wasnt here today and why i wont be here for a couple of days is that I had to take my mom to the ER today... she is sooooo stubborn! she had been having a bunch of bad symptoms for a good week (including a 104-6 fever) and refused to go to the doctor. After I almost literally dragged her out the house and took her to the ER, they diagnosed her with a very advanced kidney infection that was already spreading to her blood.
I needed to talk to someone... im kind of overwhelmed by that and a few more things in my life right now. Why does it seem like bad things come all at the same time?
Thanks for listening fishloreans.

I just came home to rest a bit and shower since my mom was finally taken out of the ER, and is now in a room at the hospital. She is still very sick, but at least not in the IC...
Thanks Lucy, Hatchet and Darlene. your support means a lot to me
but like I said, bad things dont come alone... When I came home i didnt expect to find Balthiers tank on a mini cycle. I am going to make a separate thread about it now.

| Thanks everyone mom is doing better and the doctors let her come home today....
but not all happiness is complete.
as I was leaving the hospital with my mom I received a call from my Hapkido/Taekwondo academy to which I have been attending for about 3 years. My Master called me to tell me that my instructor, who had been diagnosed with cancer of the lungs and brain about a month ago, had died yesterday.
Bad things never come alone... as I said. That guy was just 30, he was like my brother, giving me rides home in the night after practices because he was afraid anything might happen to me, the one that helped me train and reminded me that I was "I could do anything I wanted"... the one I laughed with in parties and the one that guided me during tests and tournaments... And I couldnt even see him before he died.
im devastated.
also, i happen to be short on $ for college tuition this time around, balthiers tank is on a mini cycle and he is sick. also, my mystery snails are completely sick and dying... and I think i have a couple more problems but cant list them all right now...
Im about to collapse. I cant even cry anymore... I am so stunned I cant.
(I needed to let that out... sorry)
Well, whats important is that my mom is better. That is something to thank God for.
and thanks to all of you for your support. I am sure your prayers and good vibes helped my mom heal. She says "thank you"

| Alessa, I'm glad your mom is home and feeling better.
It's so very hard to lose someone close to you. He taught you lessons that will serve you well through out your life. In this way, he'll never leave you.
Cherish the memories, it'll get easier with time.
The tank will get better, your a great fin mommy, so I have no doubt you'll get things worked out.
You've been in my thoughts and prayers, my friend. |

| Alessa, I'm glad your mum is better. Bad things happen, and when they do, more like to follow them. But if you are strong, and you look to the good side of life, then the bad things will start getting better. Try take your mind of it as much as you can - go to the movies with your mates etc, try to have fun, laugh until your throat aches like crazy... Have fun and things will soon get better! |
