I have a neighbor that got into tanks after I got mine and got tore up with MTS now has 2-55 and a 29 gallon. He asks me for advice and I try to give it to him about stocking, cleaning, everything. The thing is one of his friends is moving and thats where he got 2 of the tanks well now he wont be able to take his fish either so my neighbor took them 4 silver tip sharks 4inches ea., 1 pictus cat 4 1/2 inches and a needle nose gar 8 inches all in the 29 gallon tank even his other tanks are fully stocked (over a little) but I told him those fish will never last in that tank I think he is going to take tham to LFS but it seems like he might keep some. Im afraid it will be the gar which is cool looking but a 29 is no place for it needs more like a 150 or bigger for it. I guess I just get frustrated that you can tell someone about stocking and they dont listen or read up and basically uninformed wont try to get informed or educated.

I understand You can give your best advice but in the end it is their tank and will do what they will do. It's very frusterating at times but hang in there. You're the best thing your friends got going right now so be patient.

Thanks I think he's going to do the right thing in the end he will see the problems with his tanks and start to take fish to the LFS or hey even better get a really big tank.
