Dino's parents and one of his aunts joined forces to have this party. It wasn't much, just hawaiian themed foods and attire (on most people.)

So here are some pictures of the best food sculptures.

Pic 3: There it is after carving and filling with bits of 6-10 different types of fruit.

Pic 1: Cantalope swan with strawberries

Pic 2: That's the remains of the watermelon turtle this morning. (Most of the insides will probably get blended with some adult beverages. )

Pic 3: Not hawaiian, but good.. macadamia nut chocolate chip cookie with pink frosting mmmm.

Dino's aunt did an awesome job on the fruit carving and sculpting. I didn't cook much for this, because I usually cook quite a bit, so I left it to other people this time. (I did do a million-dollar pie. Cool Whip, chopped walnuts, sweetened condensed milk, crushed pineapple.)

Edit: I am guilty of being too enthralled with the food to snap pictures of the clothing.

mhhhmmm the "adult " beverages with a watermellon is rockin! next summer we are going to try a full luau with a pig roast and all the trimmings...I think ill be hitting you up for some more ideas!

The fruit sculptures are awesome. Almost to pretty to eat!

Your pie sounds similar to my lemon pie, except no walnuts and lemons instead of pinapple.
