My VERY active tank

My friend came over last night, he said... oh wow your tanks are multiplying , and that one looks like the fish are all on caffeine...

and no kidding... I looked at my 55 gal to a very busy social activity going on.... and yes, I have very active fish, they exhaust me just watching..

The hatchets skimming back and forth, back and forth and then hanging in the current... they just do not stop.....
The albino corys are hilarious, they also just do not stop, they never lie dead for me... they are going going going.. I have 4 of them and they are here, there, up , down... all over the place, chugging around... throw in the tetras ....which are mid level swimming in a school...... Hannable my angel is too stunned to be her aggresive self... she just ignores the commotion... and then my cuckoo catfish doesnt even stay hidden... its darting around, stops, then continues..... a lot is goin' on in that tank, that is for sure............

why not?

I know for 'my' particular angel, I cannot put platies as she attacks on sight, but I have not had a single incident with my tetras.... infact I have a very aggressive it seems Angel, and she has no issues with any of these particular tank mates in this tank.

That depends on what type of tetra.

Some tetras (serpae, for instance) can be too prone to fin-nipping to work well with angels, and some tetras (neons/cardinals) can be seen as food to an adult angel, but many work just fine.

I just wasn't 100% sure so I thought I'd ask. I thought tetras that are small would get eaten, and tetras that grow a bit bigger would attack the angel.
If that is true, then I guess there must be tetras that are in between and are just right for keeping with angelfish
