Got in trouble today.... lol

Well, I had a hair appt w/ my stylist that it takes a good 3 weeks to get in to see. I hadn't planned on getting sick, spending way to much on clothes, etc on the tn tax holiday weekend, and my husband bought an expensive muzzleloader.

Plus we got molly.. and she needed things too.

My husband hasn't asked yet how much it cost for my hair, and I plan not to tell him unless he asks, a couple years ago he saw the receipt and flipped out.

No, he was upset over how much molly's crate cost.... he doesn't know that I ordered fish too.... RUTT RO....
Oh well, Im glad my hair stylist doesn't give out reciepts.... I just got the oh, it looks good from him.... (I went from my natural dark brown to blonde w/ darker low lights the biggest change in a year)

Next paycheck we are buying a new comp, so I will have to keep my spending to a bare minimum..... lay low for a while. No wonder I got the evil eye when I picked up the foster and smith mag looking for lighting for the 58g tank...

There are not many things that beat a trip to a salon and a good new hairstyle!! It always makes you feel SO good.

This thread makes me laugh. Just take a #1 guard and shave it off! $5-10 haircut!

I can relate to buying lots and lots of fish/fish stuff though.

LOL, my husband doesn't see spending much in the salon because he shaves his head, literally like once a week.

I have been living by the motto that a woman should change something about her "style" every 6 months at least... I can't go much shorter w/ my hair, its natural curly and hard to deal with, so color was my only step... I am going to go much lighter next time, I was just scared it would fry my hair. I can straighten my hair now w/ the lenth.

Now my husband had no complaints when he saw it... He liked it. My mil cracks me up, I told her how much it was and she said she spends that herself on her hair (which for her is a big deal, the woman has no hobbies/intrests) so for her to say that was an okay price for hair... that made me feel better. She also called it "tinted" I like her wording, instead of I bleached my hair out, its "tinted"...

Now, w/ our next paychecks... my husband has a hunting supply list a mile long I can't say much w/ all the money we have put into my fish hobby, getting my new pup, and the shopping I did last weekend I actually told him guns were a good thing to get, as long as he got the name brands that hold their value I really don't mind him buying them, they will be passed on to our children, just like if I was to buy jewelry But my next big purchase is a new comp, which is coming up this next weekend... I can't wait, no more borrowing computers (I have had my fil's laptop for a month)

I did get a good laugh out of him the other day though, my youngest wrote on my expensive oceanic 58g tank w/ a crayon he looked up and said boy, you might as well put a scratch on one of my guns (so he does reconize how important my fish tanks/fish are to me) I got the crayon off, luckily...
