Addiction

Allthough there are worse things to be addicted to does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop buying things for aquariums my tanks are stocked and everything is going good but I am driving my wife nuts with talks of a bigger tank and I have just gotten her into the whole aquarium experiance and might be burning her out. I started out with one 55 gallon then I got a used 55 gallon from a guy at work, then I got my daughter a betta tank ( 2 1/2 gallon filtered and heated) now I want a "150 gallon" (220 gallon I have my eye on) MTS for sure. Any suggestions? or this may be my wife .

well she likes the tanks but she wants a gold fish tank. She wants a black oranda. I tried to tell her she can have one of the 55 gallons for her tank as soon as I get my big tank. Hopefully that works then I will be

Im not ready for a pond yet but I did tell my wife that with the right filters I could turn our above ground pool into a really big tank but keeping it heated in the winter would be rough. She just stared at me like I was serious and a little crazy. If I keep it up she might just have me committed.

that would be awesome - Convert a swimming pool to an aquarium! - You could swim with your fish!

Wonder if it's been done!

Does she have a hobby? If she does make a deal with her about her getting something of equal value for her hobby as you are yours. It is nice to be able to have some of the same interests but at the same time it is nice to have someone that can kind of keep a check on our interests.

She doesn't really have a hobby right now but she has had several in the past she likes the tanks we have but she doesn't suffer from MTS like I do. Its probably a good thing because I would be broke if she did.

I think that a pool would make a great aquarium.
