| Wowwweeeee!!!!!
ok dull post but i HAD lost my nerve to riding my horse!!! Daft i know BUT i rode her today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she was a dream and i loved it!!! My problem is i am a perfectionist and always think i am rubbish!! Half my head thinks that way and the other half says' don't be a muppet' i adore her!!!!!!!!! |

| Grats! Horses are much more intimidating than one would think. A lot stronger, bigger, and aggresive(sometimes) than people give them credit for.

Yeah a while back and every now and then fear kicks back in!!! As soon as i ride i'm ok but i just panic!!! Fall was bad, was in a lane and my horse took off on her own leaving me knocked out. My Nana died 36 hours later and i think that i link the 2 things somehow, Nan was my second Mum. i love my horse to bits though and she loves me too. I'd never be without her!!! | |

| I am so glad that you are okay after that horrible accident. I am so sorry about your Nana as well.
You remind me a lot of my sister. She had an accident very similar to yours and ended up with a broken jaw (her horse took off when she was riding on the pavement and slipped and fell on top of her). She finally got up the courage to get back on though and I'm glad that you did too. I really believe that for horse people, riding is a way of life, and nothing can ever replace that. Horses are such good companions, and I really admire people who connect with them. I am proud of you for pulling through that tough time, and I hope that whenever you find yourself getting scared, you remember why you love it so much | |

OH DO!!!!!!!!!!!!! we can share tales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've ordered a new hat and bit today!!!!! so thrilled PLUS found myself a teacher, she is on hols for 2 weeks then AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH no excuse!!!!! My accident was a very nasty one BUT now i am more excited than nervous!!!!!!!!!! A HUGE change for me!!!! | |

I have a pure welsh section D cob, she is 8yrs birthday may 19th! She is bay in colour with a LONG mane!!! I ride English BUT 3 at the yard i have moved to ride western so i am being taught!!! There is a pony in the stable next to us that has just come over from the US, so sweet! I will take some pics today and post them later. I think the sharing stories bit will be FAB!!!!!

| how sweet she sounds! My horse was a pinto. he was gorgeous. I mainly did western style riding because its so easy and relaxed! He was stubborn as a donkey but I soon got him out of that  hehe. I was never formally trained so i dont know aany fancy words! I just got on him and went! YAY! | |
