Okay I have been thinking of this and I was wondering how this is for a 55 gal tank.


2 angels (breeding pair hopefully, if I cant get a pair 1)
2 blue rams (again breeding pair)
5-8 cardinals
6-7 ottos

My water is naturally around 6.4-6.5 so I thought I should try a tank of fish that really thrive in that range.

Looks like a nice stock but maybe cardinals aren't a good idea... Try neons! Cardinals are quite aggressive especially when you have angels too. Or the others have other suggestions.

But here's my idea:

2 Angels
2 Blue Rams
6 Neon Tetras
4 - 6 Ottos

I hate to disagree but in my point of view cardinals are far from aggresive!

They can easly live with angels and thrive aslong as they arei n a shoal of atleast 6 .

well they say that neons stay too small for the angelfish, as the angelfish eat them

Thats why I said cardinals.
