Hey everyone, I know it's been a while, well just figured I would tell you guys how everyone is doing.


My beta is doing wonderfully he has been recovering very very well from that fin rot, although, I'm wondering if he is starting to develop another case, I'm watching his fins very closely.

My little cory catfish with the gold spots/streaks is doing very very well, happy as ever and active 24/7 eating all the wastes (blegh)

My rummynoses (the two that are left out of 6 from starting the tank) are doing very well, there noses are as magnificiently red as ever.

My neons are not so well, of the few that are left, they aren't very colorful, and also they are all so FAT! it's beginning to worry me, but there color has definately dulled over the last few weeks, they do not look healthy.

My plecostumus that I used to have, died... for an unknown cause, that was a sad day.



I bought another pleco, an albino, he is amazing and doing very nicely, he wasn't eating everything though so I got another one,

a clown pleco, hes cool too, but he hides in the hollow log thing in the tank, and I hardly ever see him out, and when I do, he sees me and darts for the log again... but who knows, maybe someday he will warm up to me.





remember my two killi fish? well one of them has disappeared.. inexplicable cause, none of my fish are big enough to eat another fish, so thats out of the question, and he isn't behind the tank, so all I can imagine is maybe my cat went fishing one day..... =( but anyways, thats about it for me...

and as for my beta in the community tank, he hasn't ever attacked or been attacked, so it seems he is an exception.

Good to hear that things are going well for you.

Saying about your betta, mine was being attacked by 2 puffer fish which I was ill asvised would be ok, after advice here I took them back and Betta is happier and growing fins back in my community tank

Corys really don't eat waste just food that drops to the bottom
Are they fat or bloated? How are your water parameters? Neons are your early warning system something may be too high. ammonia, Nitrites? Nitrates?
Sorry to hear that. I love plecs
He may have died and the other fish eaten him. It doesn't take a tank of fish long to clean up a spot of protein(dead fish)
