I love the 4th!! Its the weekend where my mil takes off w/ my kids on vacation!! I will be childless for 4 days...... Last year my husband and I had the whole time off together and it was like a mini vacation for us, just w/ no gas expenses and hotel cost...plus we had the pool to ourselves.....
This year I have to work one of those days... but I will be taking advantage of the NO kids celebration!
All the possiblites of the house to myself.... the wii... pool... just peace and quiet!
I will be able to treat all my new rocks for my tanks too! (my youngest is really bad for getting under my feet in the kitchen, and I would hate to think of tripping over him w/ a pot full of heavy rocks boiling in water.

I know one thing.. I will have the house clean and the laundry caught up so I have nothing to do!

I LOVE "Mommy vacations" as I like to call them. I hope you enjoy it! I get to have one in a couple of weeks, but it is during the work week...but it is still nice for my hubby and I not to have any responsibilities in the evenings.
