For those of you in the states and who have furry pets, remember to make sure they are well-secured, as dogs especially have been known to jump seemingly impossibly high fences, break chains, and even go through windows when scared by fireworks.

Here's another reminder; Remember that your neighbors may not be interested in celebrating at 2am on either July 4th or 5th. One of those people you're keeping awake may be the ER nurse you end up seeing for firecracker-related injuries.
