Would 110 watts be OK for a planted 75 gallon tank (that is 20" tall)? The plants would most likely be low-light. Though I'd be interested to hear if any moderate- or higher-light plants would do OK under 110 watts in a 75G tank.

Does anyone have experience with All-Glass Aquarium's Compact Flurescent Strip-Lights? The one I am talking about is this type, and it's 48" long and has two 55W compact fluorescent lamps. It's for a tank that is 48" long, 18" wide, and 20" high.

Isabella should be able to grow plants with 110W. I have 80W over my 75G but mostly grow low light plants.

Carol, perhaps yours is an All-Glass Aquarium double light-strip? I know that those have a total of 80 watts (two 48" lamps, 40 watts each). Besides, what are the dimensions of your 75G? Is it also made by All-Glass Aquarium company?
