Now Im just asking.

Do you think getting a nano skimmer and coral and rock is worth the money?
I just want to know to get more fish or this, Over time I can get both. OH and my tang eats something off the live rock and I only know how to take care of it but I have been wonderring why. The other fish seems to do that too ofcourse only two do that. ONe of my thoughts is that it eats algea of the rock or some sort of micro organisms. I also have a fish who always moves sand around when it already has its burrows under the rock and then I level it and the next morning again, giant piles if sandand places where you can see the glass. After a while it stops doing this but then It comes around again. I was also wondering what protien skimmers do. I know you dont have to change your water as much but are they needed to keep inverts and coral. The guy at the fishstore said it is better but I think he just wants me to buy stuff but I will buy it from fish.com if it is necessary. I also want to know what can help with algea because I clean the algea everyday and my fish are used to it and I use the magnet thing. I already know its becuase of lighting. I have had this problem ever since I got it and not with freshwater. Is there a chemical that helps? that wont harm things that I plan on getting. Another thing is that I read about this copper thing well how do you have it leveled for inverts? I saw this chemical at the petshop that is suposed helps. I plan on getting them so I need help but I dont have them yet. One last thing is where can I get a lid for my saltwater tank. I really need one becuase my lamp gets alot of salt on it and I am tired of cleaning it everyday. THe old one broke when. I have tried many places and they just dont sell lids at my local fishstore. This as many other things might take a while but I want to be super prepared so that nothing will happen or wrong.
Hoping fishlore will help me I will wait for a response and go research more on fish and stuff I plan on getting. I know I wated to edit this. Sorry. I hope this isnt to much to ask and dont get mad at me for not researching I did research but need a good site beside the marinecenter thing. I also think this thread needs to be moved. I am a newbie in coral and invertebarates. And now I know about them.
