55 Gallon Accessories

Yay! So I am going to get a 55g and I'm probably going to have it planted. Here are some of the accessories I want to get and I ask of you to comment on my choosing and I also have a few questions. Questions will be marked in red for your convenience.

Lighting: http://www.hellolights.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=321

130w/55 gallons would be around 2.4w/gal. Will that make it to where I need to get a CO2 Injector? I plan to plant it heavily so I want a good lighting. And that lighting is reasonably cheap and I'm going to get some adjustable mounting legs for it and maybe a moonlight (<--- are they worth it?)

That being said. What plants would be good? I'm planning to get:
Watersprite
Java Moss
Anubias
Moss Balls

...and that's all I know about, plantswise that is.

Heating:
200w - http://www.hellolights.com/index.asp...OD&ProdID=1579

250w - http://www.hellolights.com/index.asp...OD&ProdID=1578

I'm not sure how much wattage to get for a 55g, but I've looked at some topics in the forums and I've concluded a 200w heather will suffice? Or will a 250w be of more help?

Filters

Obviously.

And any airpumps/stones/etc. are minor necessities.

I might be going for a wild stock. I dunno if I want a Dwarf Gourami/Pearl Gourami/Tetra/Loach Mass mix...or Cichlids...or Kribs...because they are very pretty. Any input on that? Any good fish that I haven't tried that you would like to share?

Like maybe (guestimating)
Dozen Tetras
3 Dwarfs
3 Pearls
Rest space for loaches?

OR

Cichlids or something.
---------------------

Thanks again for helping my endless need of question-answering =S.

I am not sure about the pearls but male dwarfs can be territorial, but I'm not sure how much that will matter in a big tank...
Also, the pearls may be bullied by the dwarfs

My male Dwarf and my female Pearl get along so well. But I would get a 1M/2F for both of them.

I'm just starting my 55. I have cichlids - getting the right mix can be tough. And once you know what you want, finding that particular fish can also be challenging.

It came with filters but my choice would be aqua clear.

For heaters, I am hooked on vistherm stealth (marineland).

Don't forget if you shop petsmart: Find what you want on line. print the page and take it to the store. They will match the lower internet price.

I will try that PetSmart tip, thanks!

Yeah, my LFS is pretty big and they have a Cichlid section and they have a pretty good selection. I might try Cichlids but I am going to read more about them.

Ah, forget it.
I'm just going to save for a decked out gaming computer...
I wasn't getting much feedback anyways and I don't have any place to put it.
