Nags, if you didn't go you didn't miss ANYTHING!


I went to it just to see what all they had on sale.. Belive it or not they actually had a lot really marked down... like the coralife lighting was 40 percent off.. my chems that I use were 25 percent off (the only thing I bought besides food for the fish lol), then they had buy this tank and get so much in fish credit...
I just wasn't too apt to buy a fish or a tank today from them..
I looked around bought my chem and food and went to petsmart, where I spent a lot more money...

They did have a raffle though, and will anounce the winners Mon... like my husband said if they base it on how much someone spent in the past few months... they owe us at least a jar of food for the fish!

Yea.. it would be nice to win one of their fish tanks they had on the raffle...
w/ our luck it will be food for a fish we dont have if we win anything

I am more whinny about the day for being in knox by myself w/ the kids and carson throwing up all over the backseat, (his reflux comes and goes w/ him). They enjoyed the bookstore we went to more than the aquarium store, thats saying a lot...........

Hey guys.. I didnt waste my time going. I was so busy saturday painting my kitchen and laundry room that i plumb forgot about the fish sale in knoxville.

Now im really glad i didnt go.

oh they sold sooo much that they had to extend their sales for the extra stuff they orderd for the sale to sunday.... (im still getting a kick out of that one) I got the email sunday morning where we are on the vip list, now wheres the email saying "you've won a free tank".... as much as we have bought from them?? they are supose to announce the winners today and tomm, I think it will be the vip customers that buy the high priced stuff from them...

That's a lot like Marine Fish down here in Marietta, GA (just outside of Atlanta). They had a huge sale 2 weeks ago. All livestock including corals was 50% off, salt about 40% off, RO units were the price of the online stores, food was buy one get one free.

Ya...so despite all of the sales, I still managed to spend almost $500!!

I spent over 300 in gas for my lil mini trip i took. I cant freakin afford fish now LOL..

lol.. I spent 30 sat, including my chemicals, food for the fish, and my boy betta, and some fake plants.... I think I got off cheap!!!
Now I have a list a mile long for this weekend, I am going to go to a landscaping place and get some bigger round rock to make better caves for my 55g, and then I need a sponge filter for the fry tank, filter media, at least no fish will be bought I am stocked up!
(I am going to buy 1 ruby red peacock male for my husband, he was so tore up when the one that we got from the aquarium store died 2 days after we bought it from a fungus... I noticed sat, that tank had a X on it??) But I am going to try to find him a fancy show quality male on aquabid... or somewhere...
