any big plans for Mother's Day?

Well I am going out to my parents house tonight to celebrate mothers day early so all of us kids can be there. Actual mothers day will probably be like any other day for me - my daughter is too young to do breakfast in bed or anything like that. We will probably just hang out, watch movies, and play games all day. (in other words, no cleaning/working... just be lazy!)

No big plans here either. Its supposed to be raining so that will put a damper on any outdoor plans. I dont cook on any other day so its no treat to not cook on mothers day LOL..

i dunno.. weve just never done much for mothers or fathers day..

Heck yes I have plans for Mothers Day.....I plan on laying by the blow up pool and drinking Bud lights all day Oh and letting my kids and Grandkids serve me of course

I am cooking lunch for my mom and I for after church and then we are having a quiet afternoon at home and probably watch a movie at home. That is as good as it gets here. The rest of the family lives a long way off and we are looking forward to having some peace and quiet. So it will be her, me and the fishies.

My wife and I will be making brunch for our parents next weekend. Normally we do this on Mother's day, but she works this weekend.

well, we are going to go to the aquarium in chatt, TN.. and hopefully get some yellow labs from Dino tomm.
Not counting I have the pick of any fishstore stops, resturants, stores... etc lol...

However, today I got home at 12am from work and I got the gifts my son made at school... I got all teared up. He made one of those poem things w/ his handprint on it, a pic of a kitty on it and a rose and a poem (the kitty was colored just like my jinxy), then while he was at his grandmothers wrote me a "I love mommy" letter. I am going to have that letter laminated and put in my scrapbook. Its the first Mothers day that I have real stuff he has made, and then one from the bottom of his heart, he wanted to write me a letter.
Oh, they had a little sell at school and I sent him money... aside from the toy he bought himself (I was expecting that one lol) He brought home 2 potted flowers, a little journal, and some pretty stationary...
He is so sweet!!!
I told him this has been the best mothers day weekend ever!!!
Anyone who knows this child knows he is a very affectionate child to my mil, my mother, and myself though... I am wondering what he has instore to make for those two tomm night when we get home??

I know I am going to look for my mil some nice guppies, she is actually keeping up w/ her fish now, doing proper maintenence, I gave her a siphon vaccum and she is using it. So you can teach old style fish people new tricks. I showed her the moscow blues... she loved them... I told her I would look for them and she offered money... I said wait until we get back... (I know we will find them) I am going to get her that and a good test kit for herself... and a rosebush for outside. She was so worried we would need money for the fish... lol when it comes to a weekend near mothers day she should keep her mouth shut!!

My daughter wont be able to make the drive to the Cape this weekend, but my son and his girlfriend will be making me dinner tomorrow. they are cooking it at their house and bringing it here. Thats pretty nice! And I usually get a nice hanging potted plant for the deck, which I always appreciate. Its always the start of summer flowers for me.
