Yeah...me!
I haven't been on in AGES. I've been busy with stuff in real life and finally it has calmed down and I want to get back into my hobby. I have a Dwarf Gourami, Pearl Gourami, 3 Glowlight Tetras, 3 Bronze Corys, and a BN Pleco. I was wondering if I should add anymore? I want to...my tank isn't really lively. I'm also saving up for a new light hood system and after that I'm going to add live plants. But I still need some ideas on decoration. I just have a piece of driftwood and some rock caves beside it but it looks pretty bland to me. Any way, or techniques, I can make the tank look natural? I am probably going to get another piece of wood because the wood piece I have is already pretty small.
AND

I have an idea that I don't know if it will work. Is PCV pipes ok for aquariums? 'Cause I was thinking of putting some in the gravel you know, to make instant tunnels for the Corys to go around and/or sleep in. Would this work? If not, is there some other non-toxic material I could do the same with?

Welcome back! I think you'd have room for a few more corys maybe. If it's been cleaned under hot water and dried, I think some new PVC pipe would be good.

After cleaning PVC pipe is great for tanks. You can even make it look different by covering it with aquarium safe silicon and rolling it in gravel or sand.

Alright! Sounds cool. Is there any easy way to take out gravel and change it to sand? 'Cause if that's too hard for me, I might just put some sand here and there...mainly by the plants, so the Corys can dig around. Where can I get such sand?

I think I might get 2 extra Glowlights and maybe another or possibly two Corys? Sound good?

i tried putting sand in just spots for the cories to play in, but they loved it so much, that they mixed it all in with the gravel after a month.

Really? Sounds great then. Where can I get aquarium-safe sand?

Pool filter sand is the easiest(it doesn't have to be rinsed). Any place that has supplies for pools will have it.

I bought it at Lowes in a bag. I believe it was meant for plants? I boiled then added it after it cooled. If you add it to an existing tank, i found putting it in a completely clean zip lock bag, then getting it close to the bottom and releasing, makes the water less cloudy.

I think I am going to slope my gravel from left to right, placing my driftwood and rocks at the bottom of the slope and putting sand there; then I'm going to put the plants in the background. Hopefully it will work out good and look pleasing.
