I had sea monkeys once - they're relatively cheap.
I think I paid about £8 ($16) for mine - came with a small tank with small magnifying glass attached (like on bi-focal spectacles).
The eggs are dry and are dormant until contact is made with water. You simply pour in the sachet of eggs and within a few days you have these strange little critters swimming around.
They look like little "fishlike - centipedes"
Fish will eat them - infact I have bought frozen blocks of
brine shrimp to feed to my fish as an occasional treat.
- they don't seem as keen on the seamonkeys as they are on the frozen blood worm but it is a nice change.
I wonder if it would be a good idea to dump sea monkey eggs in my fishtank...
- live food.
Might be a great Idea - Any thoughts?
