He tried to tell me I should put the female kenyi in the 5 gallon tank for her to release the babies today... I went through the roof!! I said there was no way in H... that I would put that kenyi mother through sitting in a 5 gallon tank nor her babies! I also explained to him that a 5 gallon tank is only good for one thing, a
betta tank.
Then he made the remark that its going to ad to my
water change regimin.. so what? I have a python I said its not like it takes me forever to do.
There, I got my at least 29-40 for her and her babies...
he he... I got it going so I nudged it a bit further... oh.. but I didn't have to say anything! he said that he was going to go under the house and re-enforce the flooring for me (we live in a double-wide) and if i could size down my computer desk he would get a 90g-100g tank for me for the mbunas...
Ahh.. but me I have to keep pushing and I did... and if you know him and his gun collection I get my way by throwing it up since fish has been my only true hobby in the 8 years we have been married....
I am also getting a nano reef... that one took a little pushing... he started arguing about that one.. about where I was wanting a south american tank and when I said that I would need a
RO unit for a Discus tank and how expensive that would be... he agreed w/ the nano reef...
So I talked my husband into 3 tanks....
Tommorow, I am going to show him the pond stuff on craigslist (seriously!) somone has a nice set of ponds 3 graduated w/ waterfall and 2 pumps... I would then take my mil's squashed
goldfish and put them in it... (only 75 for the whole setup!) He will like the idea because it will be less mowing and make the yard look better...
