Not only are Dino and I hosting the gathering at the Fishhouse, but the next day we are heading to the Tennessee Aquarium at Chattanooga with anyone that chooses to stick around.

I was wondering if that was still going to happen? I am trying to get my hubby to take a day off work/ or trade a day... If I get to be there I will have no sleep the night before I have to work night shift on the 18th... so I need him to drive...

Ive been to the Aquarium in Chattanooga.. its fantastic. have you visited the one in Gatlinburg? I have not been there yet mostly because I hate the traffic in gatlinburg. I see you are in East TN. My neck of the woods as well..

Butterfly, I hear that the aquarium in gatlinburg is way better then the one in chattanooga. Perhaps some day ill suck it up and dive into the traffic and spend the day there looking around.

We are reg customers at the one in Gatlinburg w/ the kids.. its so close of a drive w/ the kids... Honestly though my husband says the one in Chat. is better? We have been planning to take them down there one day soon.
I have never been to the one in Chat.

If i understood the first post the fling is on the 19th/20th? I wont be in Tennessee that weekend. My folks live in Arkansas and im going to see them.

When my son was about 5 (seems like a hundred years ago) we made our first trip to chatt to see the Aquarium.. After we spent our time inside we looked around Chattanooga for a bit.. We came across some mounted police and they put my son up on the horse with one of the cops and let us take their picture. He loved it..

If it was not a 8hr drive, my mom said that we would be there in a heartbeat! We don't fly.

Have fun everyone,eat a burger for me, oh and take lots of pictures at the Aquarium so we all can see a bit of what its like.

I might actually get to come to it... if my husband can get Sat off work.. and one of the guys at works wife can hold her baby in just one more week lol.... otherwise I will have to work all this week starting tomm and weekend (getting a right nice paycheck) so either way it will be sweet! (if I have to work my money will just be spent on fish! if I work all week/weekend I can get that 90g I've been wanting)
If not... oh well I can enjoy Sat!

He he.. getting my husband to do anything unless it is to do w/ a deer in Oct is impossible.. I pretty much have a month to myself every year.... I wouldn't take it away from him any weekend in Oct... now this Sat if I am off work.. totally dif story, he owes me from this past weekend...
