Interesting behavior

I noticed some interesting behavior in my fish yesterday...It was very warm here in AZ...90 degrees outside.....1st I noticed Will was building a huge bubble nest and then last night my clown fish were acting very different...Landon, the male was swishing his tail on the rocks and shaking...Both the clowns seemed very interested in one area of the tank...I'm wondering if warm weather contributes to spawning....

Any input will be appreciated...

yeah, warm weather does contribute, sometimes along with heavy rains (water changes).

with some species of fish a raise in temp will trigger breeding. others a cooling rain[water change], and others will respond to chemical changes ph, hardess, and some even respond to salt added it all depends on the species! gl...john

They are correct.

Temperature changes simulate some fish' hard-wired natural instincts of "Rainy season is coming." or the opposite of that. That's why a lot of serious breeders do an extra waterchange while messing with the temperature of the tank based around pressure fronts that go through their area. (I wouldn't recommend the common hobbyist try fiddling with their tank temperature very often... the seriously skilled breeders know what they are doing... by and large. )
