Algae help, in my aquarium I had a rapid growth of algae for about 2 months so I decide to change gravel in tank, and clean entire tank. Now I se that algae has come back I kept original plats in tank. Does any one now what it could be, or how I can stop the growth and get rid of it. Could it be my aquarium lights causing it. Spot I have my dank in, is not in direct light and about 30 feet from closest window.

Having the aquarium light on can definitely contribute to algae. How long do you have it on everyday?

Light and nutrients are the main contributors to algae growth. So I'd look at how much food the fish are getting and how long the light is on.
