Well I was thinking today because I have two powerhead/waterpumps set up atm just pumping out water in the paludarium and it gives it a pretty strong current. It looks really neat so I was thinking......

I could mount my TV on the wall above my dresser. Alon the entire length of the dresser I could have I really long but shallow tank. About 1 ft tall maybe alittle more and about 5' 5" long and 15-18" wide. I would have 5 of these powerheads going. http://www.thefishfactoryonline.com/...PROD&ProdID=60. Two of them would be at the start of the tank and the three others would be scattered about facing towards the water at a slight angle. It would simulate a very strong current/rapids. I would use large pieces of PVC pipe(10" diameter) as the container for the water leading to a pool. It would be Rapids to calmer water. I will try to illustrate as best as I can. I cant really type out water I mean so I will try to do a paint version.

I basically want to give it a rough rapids looks and then end in a semi calm pool. Just an idea. Not so much for fish but technicality, the fun of building it and it would look neat.

Actually, several of the plecos and ottos would do well in such as tank.
As would most torpedo shaped fish like danios.

My wife and I were there this weekend and bought the EX250 power head to break up the dead spots in the front of our 46gal. Seems to be working pretty nicely too. The plants almost look real. lol If you want more of a rapids, I would get a little bigger power head...maybe save you a couple dollars in the end by not needing as many.. just a thought and good luck. Make sure to post pics!
